I speak of myself. When I say I will come again, I mean I myself will return, not another in my place. The Son of Man will come with power and great glory, and every eye will see. But understand this: my coming is not only something far off. I also promised to send the Comforter, the Spirit of truth, who will dwell within you and guide you. Through the Spirit, I am with you even now. Where two or three gather in my name, I am there among them. I am the vine, you are the branches — we are joined. So yes, I will return in the flesh, in glory, at the appointed time only my Father knows. But I have not left you orphaned in the meantime.
